Adopt-a-Magazine!

It’s Adopt-a-Magazine time!

Our library subscribes to dozens of magazines – these are read widely and voraciously by many of you. This year, we are re-launching our Adopt-a-Magazine program, in which you can donate the cost of the annual subscription of your favourite magazine. Your generosity will be recognized with a label on each issue (unless you’d like to remain anonymous) – it’s an effective way to advertise your business, honour a friend or family member, or just support your local library!
The cost of a subscription ranges from $20 and up, and the magazines that are looking to be adopted include: Archie, Bon Appetit, Canadian Living, Cooking Light, Discovery Girls, Fine Gardening, Globe & Mail (Saturday), National Geographic, People, Quiltmaker, Runners World, Seventeen, This, Wired, Yoga Journal, and lots more. If you’re interested in supporting our magazine collection in this way, give us a call at 250-442-3944 or drop by and visit us!
