Adopt-a-Magazine!

Our library subscribes to dozens of magazines – these are read widely and voraciously by many of you. This year, we are re-launching our Adopt-a-Magazine program, in which you can donate the cost of the annual subscription of your favourite magazine. Your generosity will be recognized with a label on each issue (unless you’d like to remain anonymous) – it’s an effective way to advertise your business, honour a friend or family member, or just support your local library!
The cost of a subscription ranges from $20 and up, and the magazines that are looking to be adopted include: Archie, Bon Appetit, Canadian Living, Cooking Light, Discovery Girls, Fine Gardening, Globe & Mail (Saturday), Money Sense, National Geographic, People, Quiltmaker, Runners World, Seventeen, This, Wired, Yoga Journal, and lots more. If you’re interested in supporting our magazine collection in this way, give us a call at 250-442-3944 or drop by and visit us!
