2022 Fundraising

Update:

Thanks to our many donors, we were able to complete many of the changes we hoped to achieve in 2022. We have replaced much of the flooring, got new front doors, and a new service desk.

We were unable to secure funding to complete the remainder of the project, but that just gives us something to keep working towards!

We have exciting plans!

This library is awesome, and we want to do some work on our facility to keep it that way.
In 2022, we are embarking on a new fundraising campaign to make several improvements to our building to help us serve you better. Our day-to-day funding comes from our local government, but because we are a Public Library Association, we have to raise the funds internally when we need to buy furniture or equipment, make renovations, or try a new project.
This year, we are seeking funding to do several projects both inside and outside the building. We plan to:
  • Replace the front doors
  • Get new flooring
  • Paint the interior
  • Change our front service desk
  • Create a new outdoor greenspace
The total cost for this project is estimated at $200,004. Our ultimate goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and effective space where we can continue to provide exceptional library services. This project is shovel-ready with contractors standing by, and will commence as soon as we can secure adequate funding.
As of April 20, 2022, we have raised over $32,000 toward this project!
